Visiting From
Tanglin to Dempsey Hill
Tanglin is the closest neighborhood to the clinic. Parts of it are genuinely walkable.
About This Trip
From Tanglin Road or Tanglin Mall, the drive to 27A Loewen Road takes 5 to 8 minutes. There's on-site parking, though it can fill at busy times. If you're near the embassy corridor or Tanglin Club, the walk along Napier Road and Loewen Road is about 15 to 20 minutes through a quiet, tree-lined stretch. Napier MRT is also an option if you're already on the TEL.
From Tanglin, distance isn't the question. Most patients here are working out whether chiropractic is the right fit for what they're dealing with, not whether the trip is worth making. If you're still figuring that out, how I work is a reasonable place to start.
Who Makes This Trip
Young parents
Diplomat households and young parents nearby. Stroller shoulder and baby-carrying strain are genuinely common patterns, often building on one side over months.
Desk workers
Long days in offices along the Tanglin corridor, often presenting with neck and upper back stiffness that hasn't resolved with rest.
New arrivals
First months in Singapore, still finding a routine. The complaints are usually from the move itself: a week in a hotel bed, the flight over, lifting furniture without help. Some of it settles. The neck that's been stiff since Changi usually doesn't.

Common Questions
Yes, from parts of Tanglin. If you're near the embassy row on Tanglin Road, Tanglin Club, or anywhere along the Napier Road corridor, the walk to 27A Loewen Road takes about 15 to 20 minutes. It's a quiet stretch with good footpaths. I'd say it's worth doing if it's not raining and you're not in a hurry. From Tanglin Mall or further toward Orchard, a Grab makes more sense.
No. You can book directly online without a referral. Most patients come without one. If you've had relevant imaging or a recent GP assessment, bring the notes along and I'll factor them into the assessment. A referral isn't required, but prior documentation is always useful if you have it.
The Napier MRT on the Thomson-East Coast Line is your best option. From Tanglin Club, it's a short Grab or a 10-minute walk to Napier station. From Napier, the clinic is a 10 to 12 minute walk along Napier Road and Loewen Road. That said, for most people coming from Tanglin, a direct Grab to the clinic is faster and easier than dealing with the station. The MRT option is worth it if you're already on the TEL or coming from further away on that line.
